Mr. Belayet Hussain Mazumder, B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) (Gold Medalist), LL.M., NET, SLET & JRF. He is currently working as a UGC Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the Department of Law, Assam University, Silchar.
He has been a Life Member of the Barak Education Society (BES) and also Managerial Board Member of Intellection, an Interdisciplinary Research Journal (ISSN: 2319-8192).
The Central Executive Committee, BES has assigned him the responsibility of District Coordinator, Hailakandi in the virtual meet of the organisation held on 2nd September, 2020.

RULES FOR ACTIVITIES OF DISTRICT COORDINATORS
District Coordinator: The Central Executive Committee may select District Coordinators for every district of Barak Valley. The name of District Coordinator is to be proposed by Central Coordinator among the life members of the society.
Selection Procedure and term: The District Coordinator will be selected by the Central Executive Committee on the proposal of Central Coordintor adopting democratic method of selection. The term of the District Coordinator will be one year from the date of selection. He must be a life member of the society and must have graduation as minimum educational qualification and ordinarily residing in the concened district.
Power and function: The District Coordinator will be as like the representative of Central Coordinator at the concerned district. However, he/she may also be selected a member in the District Level Monitoring Committee.
The followings are the main functions of the District Coordinator:
(a) To help Central Coordinator in different activities in the concerned district.
(a) To create and maintain suitable coordination among the all functionaries and committes of the society at concerned district level including members in general.
(b) To coordinate with Central Executive Committee in organizing different programs of the society at the concerned district.
(c) To work for organizational development in the district and coordinator with Anchalik Committee(s) if any.
